Some of them have been on my office walls - different countries, different buildings - for quite a long time. Then I realised that, in a way, bits of papers on my cupboard are more revealing about who I am than my own face, so that's what you get. The face of a very young me is on the picture as well, in between Captain Picard's and the Borg's.<br /><br />I had no special reason to get a History Painting; I just clicked and clicked and clicked until my PC asked me: Do you want to save this file? I find their Art and Design section quite interesting. So I read the paper that morning, saw the link and clicked on it for the fun of it. It's against a background of my name encoded as an "EAN 128 Mode B" barcode. So it's sort of me holding the picture, right? (I will get it printed over xmas hol's, but wanted to send this, not a photo)<br /><br />I wanted to get a history painting because I am the sort of glutton for idiocy that will take some free interactive art, try to flog it on ebay, then slag off its originator online when I can't figure out why no-one's biting. Not really. The day after the print 'competition' was the departmental poker tournament; I came last, but being one of the 5000 was some consolation.
